Nissan announced the launch of the Micra N-Sport sports version for next February, and two new gasoline engines and XTronic CVT automatic transmission for the utility as well. The Micra N-Sport has a chassis optimized to ensure a sportier performance to the vehicle, including firmer suspension and shorter travel that reduces body height by 10 mm from the ground compared to conventional versions. The steering also received adjustment to be more accurate. The petrol engine is completely new, three-cylinder, 1.0 liter with 115 hp and 180 Nm, coupled with a six-speed manual transmission of equally sporty staggering. According to Nissan, the 115 hp DIG-T engine gives the Micra N-Sport “greater acceleration power” when compared to the also new 97 hp 1.0 IG-T unit. The peak torque (160 Nm) is reached at 1,750 rpm (versus 160 Nm at 2,750 rpm in the IG-T engine). The result is an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 9.9 seconds for the Micra with the 115 hp DIG-T engine, one second faster than the version with the IG-T unit of 97 hp (10.9 seconds).

The exterior of the new Micra N-Sport features black trim on door frames and rearview mirror gmc truck covers. The alloy wheels are also black 17 inches with carbon-mimicking applications and the exhaust output is chrome plated. Inside the seats are leather upholstered seats and Alcantara, and the latter material also covers part of the instrument panel. The sports steering wheel with flat rim is covered in leather. The predominance of the black color contrasts with the white and metallic contours of the ventilation grilles and other decorative elements of the passenger compartment. Nissan also announced other premieres at the Micra. The 1.0 IG-T 100 engine, 97 hp and 160 Nm, replacing the current 0.9 from 90 hp and 150 Nm, which in addition to increased output, has fewer CO2 emissions and greater fuel economy. As standard, the new Micra IG-T 100 will have a five-speed manual transmission, but Nissan will also make available the exclusive XTronic CVT transmission in this engine. According to the Japanese manufacturer, the DIG-T 1.0 is not a more powerful version of the IG-T engine, but a different unit that was developed in conjunction with Daimler next to the 1.3-liter turbocharged engines it debuted at Qashqai.

The expected mid-life upgrade of the Nissan Murano is already a reality. Nissan’s upgraded SUV was unveiled at the Los Angeles Show in Los Angeles in 2018 as one of the major innovations that the Japanese manufacturer has led to this important automobile event. Recognized at the time, the Nissan Murano 2019 retains the base of the previous model, although it is evident that the new features shown by its exterior image allow to appreciate a more modern and current model. At its front, we will find a new V-Motion style grille, redesigned air intakes, additional chrome finishes and new LED technology antinebline headlamps. In the rear, the most relevant novelty are the new lanterns, which also use LED lighting. Nissan took advantage of this facelift to upgrade the 18- and 20-inch wheels catalog and added three new colors to the body: Sunset Drift Chromaflair, Mocha Almond Pearl and Deep Blue Pearl. In relation to the interior of the Nissan Murano 2019, the changes made by the brand are much more modest. Nissan has chosen to dramatically improve the standard equipment in certain finishes. For example, the Platinum finish now features synthetic leather upholstery benches and imitation wood inserts.

For the finishes S, SV and SL it was decided to add new metallic details. The NissanConnect infotainment system has also been upgraded with a new version of the navigation system. In terms of safety, all versions of the new Nissan Murano feature the driver alert function and the tailgate warning. The Safety Shield 360 package goes one step further and complements these technologies with blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, unintentional shift alert and automatic rear braking. As for the mechanical part of the new Nissan Murano 2019, there is nothing new. Underneath his hood will continue a 3.5-liter gasoline V6 engine with 263 hp and 325 Nm of maximum torque that comes coupled exclusively to an Xtronic automatic transmission. It is offered in both front and full-wheel drive versions. Without going into detail on the prices of each of the versions that will make up the line, the renewed SUV will reach Nissan dealers in the United States from next December.

Nissan e-Power technology continues to gain popularity in Japan. In the country of the rising sun, Nissan Note also continues to have a very high demand. Contrary to what happened in Europe when the brand decided to withdraw it from the market due to its fall into disgrace after the arrival of the new Nissan Micra in addition to the incessant growth of SUVs. In the Japanese market it is quite common to find versions with the surname Nismo in several Nissan models. A clear example of this is the new Nissan Note e-Power Nismo S, a model that begins its commercialization these days in Japan and that seeks to continue the path of success combining e-Power technology with the possibilities offered by Note. Taking as a starting point the Nissan Note e-Power Nismo, the ‘S’ version adds a plus of radicalism thanks to the increased performance of the mechanics. Aesthetically the differences are few, since everything comes down to the ‘S’ emblem that appears in the front and the back, next to the optics of LED technology. Now, compared to the conventional Nissan Note, the differences are remarkable. The exterior of the new Nissan Note e-Power Nismo S is notable for the new bumper, the 16-inch aluminum wheels, as well as an exhaust system with a visible exit. External rearview mirror housings, side skirts and different finishes show a red finish.

In relation to the interior of the vehicle dressed in sports, also appear finishes and details with which it differs from any other version available in the Japanese line of Nissan Note. Amongst all this deserves mention are the aluminum pedals, sports seats with a custom upholstery with contrasting red stitching. The suspension was also subject to change. One of the strengths of the new Note e-Power Nismo S was the improvement that Nissan made in its hybrid powertrain. Regarding the Note e-Power Nismo, the power was increased by 25% until reaching 136 hp (100 kW) and 320 Nm of maximum torque.

The cargo area of the new Nissan van that was unveiled at the Brussels Salon was equipped as a mobile workshop for a creative carpentry professional. It includes numerous practical and innovative features and demonstrates how the vast range of light commercial vehicles of the Japanese brand can be the perfect partner for professionals working in any industry or industry. The prototype NV300 van also includes an integrated portable battery solution called Nissan Energy ROAM, a multifunctional weather-resistant battery that provides practical, emission-free and silent power everywhere. With a storage capacity of 700 kWh and a maximum power of 1 kW, this portable battery solution is a high-end power station for mobile professionals. For a carpenter, who moves regularly between works, it will allow him to transmit energy to his professional life – both his tools and the pieces he idealizes – in an efficient and ecological way. Including second-life batteries recovered from Nissan electric cars that have reached the end of their lifespan, Nissan Energy ROAM is the latest example of Nissan’s leadership in sustainable energy technology. The battery can even be recharged using a solar panel accessory – such as the ceiling mounted NV300 prototype – making it a true off-grid energy solution.

“With the NV300 Concept-Van prototype, Nissan is really thinking about the future of commercial vehicles as a true partner for business customers. It is practical and versatile as well as innovative and self-sufficient with the inclusion of Nissan Energy ROAM. It demonstrates enormous potential in the light commercial vehicle sector and is an important differentiator for Nissan commercial vehicles, “said Francesco Giacalone, Director of Planning and Marketing of Light Commercial Vehicles for Nissan Europe. The Nissan NV300 prototype is an example of the new possibilities Nissan can provide to corporate customers – its custom cargo space includes innovations such as an integrated touchscreen computer, swivel seat, custom space-saving storage and LED overhead lighting . Nissan Energy ROAM is based on the prototype of portable power technology seen in the prototypes Nissan Navara Dark Sky and Nissan Navara EnGuard, unveiled at the Hanover Motor Show in 2018 and 2016, respectively. This is yet another practical example of Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility and how Nissan seeks to apply its battery technology and its knowledge about electric cars in completely new business areas.

Designed for both professional and recreational use, Nissan Energy ROAM offers a clean and sustainable solution for customers who need electricity on the move. The launch of Nissan Energy ROAM in European markets will take place in March this year.
